ABOUT *

Summer Ainsworth (She/her) is a California raised, Syracuse University trained and Brooklyn based actor.

Summer found her passion for performing at her local community theatre. This led her to Los Angeles County High School for the Arts majoring in Acting. At LACHSA, she received the opportunity of performing in Clybourne Park, Lysistrata, A Chorus Line, and Guys and Dolls. She continued her training at Syracuse Universities Department of Drama, receiving her BFA in Acting. At Syracuse, she performed in For Colored Girls…, How To Make Friends and then Kill Them, On The Lake, e.t.c.. She ended her time at Syracuse University with the Tepper Semester in New York City. She received the pleasure of learning from working actors and casting directors in the industry like David Caparelliotis, Erica Jensen and Paul Davis.

Since graduating she’s performed in The Niceties at Shadowland Stages, Little Women at Virginia Theatre Festival, and The Loneliness Cure at Fairfield University. She is a member of Actors Equity Association and is currently seeking representation.
